Prerequisites for attending

The attendees are expected to have personal cross-cultural experiences. They are also expected to have experiences as a leader or manager where they could not solve a culturally related problem.

It is also a prerequisite that Cultural Intelligence 1 a Cultural Intelligence 2 have been completed.

After the Course

After the course the attendees will know a different and much more rewarding way of resolving culturally related conflicts.

Many leaders and managers often find themselves in an uncomfortable situation when managing or leading a multicultural Team. Many of these leaders have many years of experience in a monocultural environment. They know what to do and they know how people respond. In a multicultural setting or an unfamiliar cultural environment people respond in very different ways and the well-proven tools no longer work.

This high-level cross-cultural leadership module addresses the most common issues leaders and managers have when they have to lead, motivate and manage a culturally diverse team.

Who should attend this module on Leadership across Cultures?

This module on cross-cultural leadership is intended for anyone who wants to understand how and why leadership has to be customised to different cultures.

Facilitation style

The workshop will be facilitated in such a way that the participants experiences will be blended with the academic content presented by the facilitator. There will also be individual reflection exercises when each participant is developing his or her action plan for change in order to become more cultural intelligent.
